Department of Applied Chemistry

The department of Applied Chemistry covers the fields involved in creating environment-friendly new materials, new processes, and new analysis techniques at the atomic and molecular levels. It also covers the fields of new products that support modern industries.

In this department, students learn about various kinds of materials, manufacturing processes, and devices in many fields of chemistry. Our research areas can be roughly divided into four categories: Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry.
