Ten undergraduate students from Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI) in Thailand, came to Japan to study one “Japanese way of making products". These students completed a practical training once in Japanese language at Setsunan University. They began taking the 3-week special program at the Center for Monodzukuri Management (CMM) at OIT on May 10, 2013. On the first day, they visited with Professor Nishimura, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, then to introduce themselves and speak about their motives for studying abroad.
During the training period, they were able to visit major manufacturing companies in the Kansai area, observe the production line process up close. They were also able to experience Japanese culture through interaction with OIT students, who belong to organizations like “International Friendship”, in their free time.
