Nine students from National Taipei University of Technology, one of our overseas partners, have come to OIT to begin a two-month special program from June to August, 2013.

This is the first exchange program between National Taipei University of Technology and Osaka Institute of Technology. While staying at OIT International House during the program, they are gaining research experience in robotics laboratories with OIT students.

On July 5, the Taipei Tech students went to the invention museum of Nissin Food Products CO., LTD in Ikeda city to learn about Japanese manufacturing and invention. The students were able to see many exhibits and participate in making their own noodles from scratch. In addition, they joined a robotics class, took place in the Knowledge Capital in front of Osaka station, to foster interest in and gain a deeper understanding of robotics.

As part of the exchange, ten OIT students will soon travel to NTUT on August 15. This exchange program has so far proven successful and we hope to keep a good relationship between OIT and NTUT.
