Mr. Petri Kaurola and Mr. Kari Siivonen from Tampere University of Technology (TUT), our partner university in Finland, came to OIT as exchange students. Mr. Kaurola will study in Graduate Course in Biomedical Engineering, and Mr. Siivonen in Department of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineering. They are scheduled to take academic courses for a year.

On April 4, their first day at the Omiya campus, the two students had a new student orientation, a campus tour guided by a student buddy, and a consultation with their supervisors for their course registration.

TUT is a public engineering university established in 1972 in Tampere, Finland. OIT concluded a student exchange agreement with TUT in 2014. This is the second time for OIT to accept exchange students from TUT.
