Ten students arrived in Japan from Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI), our partner institution in Thailand.
After the arrival on April 15, they had taken a 3-week Japanese language course in Setsunan University. They will continue to take a Japanese class there once a week, and will participate in a series of workshops on Japanese manufacturing in OIT for 3 more weeks from May 7. During their study in OIT, they will also participate in some plant tours to observe on-site Japanese manufacturing practices.
TNI is a private engineering university established in 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand. OIT concluded a student exchange agreement with TNI in the same year. Setsunan University and OIT have been conducting this joint program for TNI students since 2010.
