Graduate School of Information Science and Technology is currently accepting Mr. Alberto Patiño Saucedo from the University of Guanajuato (UG), Mexico. As a Ph.D student, he will conduct his research on Spiking Neural Network (SNN)-based image classification using image stream obtained by the neuro-inspired sensor system for three months under supervision of Dr. Hirotsugu OKUNO.

OIT and UG concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic and student exchange and a Student Exchange Agreement on October 2019, and it is the first time for OIT to accept an exchange student from UG.
