This October, Osaka Institute of Technology signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) one after another with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in Singapore and the Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) in Thailand. Both of them are famous universities located in or near the capital, and OIT will accept exchange students from these universities.
On October 5th, OIT signed the MOU with the Singapore University of Technology and Design. It is one of four national universities in Singapore. Established in 2009, it is the newest national university with a state-of-the-art campus located near Changi International Airport. There are four major faculties: Architecture and Sustainable Design, Engineering Product Development, Engineering Systems and Design, and Information Systems Technology and Design.
In addition, we signed the MOU with the Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi on October 11th. The university has nine campuses throughout Thailand, and Thanyaburi is its main campus. It is a large university with 12 faculties, including the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science and Technology.
In the future, Osaka Institute of Technology students will also participate in the Overseas Research Experience Program and exchange student program at these universities.
