Supporting the Kansai Geo-Spatial Forum 2025 as an Operations Staff Member
The Kansai Geo-Spatial Forum 2025 was held at the Umeda Campus of Osaka Institute of Technology, where We took part as a member of the operations staff. For undergraduate students, attending the presentations provided a valuable opportunity to learn about geospatial information.


We went on our seminar camp to Hiroshima.
We went to Hiroshima for a lab trip. Bachelor gave midterm presentations for their graduation theses and received feedback and advice. We also listened to presentations on graduate students research, deepening our understanding of the work. Plus, we held a sports tournament! It was a fun retreat that strengthened our bonds. We'll keep pushing forward with our graduation theses!
17〜19 September 2025UNESCO Architectural Conservation Project
I participated in the “UNESCO NOGUCHI GARDEN OF PEACE” project. Connecting Hiroshima and Paris, I created models from point cloud data and photogrammetric surveys, and presented the results. It was a valuable experience.


Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers in Kumamoto
The annual meeting of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers was held at Kumamoto Castle Hall. Although the core time of 80 minutes felt a bit long, many people stopped by to listen to the presentations, and we were able to engage in many discussions.
11 September 2025Young Researchers Presentation of the Japan Society of Photogrammetry
The Young Researchers Presentation of the Japan Society of Photogrammetry was held at Namba i-site. Four second-year graduate students gave presentations. At the networking event, they deepened exchanges with people from companies and other universities.

Return from ERSA Program
Four graduate students and their supervising professor have returned to Japan after completing the ERSA program in Greece. I was nervous, but it was a good experience.
1 September 2025Sakaue Departs for Study Abroad
Mr. Sakaue, a graduate student, is currently studying abroad at ESA in France from September 2025. We hope she will gain a wide range of experiences through her studies and daily life overseas. We wish her continued success in the future.


Departure for ERSA
Four graduate students and our professor have departed for Greece to attend ERSA. For me, it is my first time traveling abroad and giving a presentation in English, so I am very nervous.

Graduate and undergraduate students, along with faculty members, participated in the GIS Society Kansai Branch Academic Meeting. GIS-Kansai
This event provided a valuable opportunity, particularly as it was our first time attending a branch-level academic meeting.


Presentations at the Design Society Conference in Sapporo
Six graduate students from the Spatial Design Laboratory presented at the Design Society Conference in Sapporo. Both the presentations and subsequent discussions proceeded smoothly, and the sessions and networking events met the high standards of the Design Society.
