The Major in Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Design comprises a wide range of technical fields which relate deeply to each other. This major consists of six fields, "History/Design," "Architectural Design/City Planning," "Environmental Engineering," "River and Sea/Ground," "Structures & Materials" and "System Management," which further develop the basic expertise acquired during the undergraduate education. It also provides "Interdiscipline" which guarantees the unity of these six fields.
The major aim of the course is to educate students to become practical professionals and well-trained engineers who have a wide range of perspectives and can understand and make use of the technologies in these fields with expert knowledge and skills in their own fields.
